These are pictures of a Red-shouldered Hawk taken in Tarpon Springs Florida There was a pair of them, but one had already flown off, so not sure if this is a male or female (they look the same - the female is larger) Probably looking for a morning snack. They eat small mammals (cats, rats and squirrels), snakes and other birds (like Mourning Doves)
